The sources have now confirmed that CBSE would be announcing the dates of the Class 10th Mathematics and Class 12th Economics examination soon. As students wait for the dates, many have raised protests against the CBSE’s decision. The extent of the protest during the day at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar elicited a response from CBSE Chairperson Anita Karwal towards late evening. As for the dates of the re-examination, the official statement still maintains the dates to be shared before the end of the week. School heads and centre superintendents are in constant touch with CBSE as new methods are being considered to make the remaining board examinations leak proof.
CBSE Re-exam/ paper leak update @ 17:05: Sources have suggested that the re-examination date of the Class 10th mathematics and class 12th economics examination is expected to be released by 8 pm today. The news of tentative dates have started to do rounds and some have suggested that the examination may be pushed towards the end of April. Another source, however, has suggested that CBSE is in a position to re-conduct the examination at a very short notice and the examination may be announced earlier.

Teachers have stepped up and asked all students protesting the paper leak to keep patience and focus on the re-examination. CBSE would be sharing the re-examination schedule of Class 10th Mathematics and Class 12th Economics paper. The reports of Economics paper on April 24 and Mathematics on April 26 have not been confirmed yet.

More than 16 lakh students are affected by the CBSE’s decision to cancel the Class 10th Mathematics and Class 12th Economics Examination. As we wait for the official update from the board, sources have revealed that the Class 10th Mathematics examination is going to be scheduled on April 26 and Class 12th Economics paper is scheduled on April 24. Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released the re-examination dates for the cancelled papers of Class 10 Mathematics and Class 12 Economics Examination, claim sources. As per the information received by schools from sources, class 10th mathematics retest would be conducted on April 26, 2018. As for Class 12 Economics, the re-examination is scheduled for April 24. CBSE had yesterday, following confirmation of paper leaks, cancelled the Class 10 Mathematics board examination conducted on March 28 and Class 12th Economics exam conducted on March 26.
